Matt n Meg in Utah ♥

It’s hard to be at home in two different places at once. To love both and miss both and cherish both. To commit to one but long for the other.

Matt and I spent the past few days in Utah soaking up quality time with people we love, hiking in the mountains we love, and visiting special places we love. I miss everyone and everything about it.

Kiley, Cayson, and Kara held things down in Illinois. Taking excellent care of the dogs, the house, etc, while juggling jobs, tennis camps, meals, getting ready for summer school, and studying for the NLN pre-admission exam. They snuck in time for swimming at Simmons Island and spending time together too. Makes my mom heart so proud and happy.♥

 

Last Day of School!!!

 Cayson is officially a SENIOR!! Kara is a sophomore! These two had a great school year! We all did! Now bring on summer!

Happy Birthday Kara!

She’s FIFTEEN! This girl has got the biggest heart. She fiercely loves and cares about her people. She’s just as passionate about their happiness as she is her own. She’s serious about being a good human, and surrounding herself with good humans too. She’s opinionated, honest, and wise beyond her years. She’s always been a force to be reckoned with, even when she was little, and I wouldn’t want it any other way. Then there’s her silly side. I love her laugh, her funny facial expressions, and her jokes and sarcasm, with that amazing quick wit. Her fun and energetic spirit is contagious. I love our inside jokes, laughing so hard we cry, our walks, movie nights, late night gossip sessions, shopping trips, and everything in between. Thanks for being such an amazing soul and bright light in this crazy world. Beautiful inside and out. Love you, Karebear. Happy happy birthday!
